The free version includes the ring sizer, live precious metal prices, and stone reference charts. Pro unlocks every calculator in the app: metal weight, alloy mixing, pricing, stone weight estimation, and more. Pro is available as a monthly subscription ($8.99/mo), yearly subscription ($69.99/yr), or a one-time lifetime purchase.

BenchCalc offers a 14-day free trial of Pro. You get full access to every feature during the trial. You won't be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel at any time before that.

Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. To cancel, open your iPhone's Settings → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → select BenchCalc → Cancel Subscription. You'll keep access until the end of your current billing period.

All purchases are processed by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find BenchCalc in your purchase history, and select "Request a Refund." Yes. Your subscription or lifetime purchase is tied to your Apple ID, so it works on any device signed into the same account. If Pro isn't showing on a second device, try Settings → Subscriptions to verify, or use the "Restore Purchases" option inside the app.

Live spot prices are pulled from metals.live and update throughout the day. These are indicative spot prices, so your actual cost from a supplier or refiner may differ. BenchCalc lets you add your own supplier and caster premiums in Settings so your calculations reflect real-world costs.

BenchCalc stores all your settings, calculations, and quotes locally on your device. We don't require an account, and we don't collect personal information. The only data that leaves your device is anonymous subscription status (via RevenueCat) and network requests for metal prices and exchange rates. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Try these steps first: make sure you're running the latest version of BenchCalc from the App Store, close and reopen the app, and check your internet connection if live prices aren't loading. If the issue persists, email us at hello@benchcalc.app with a description of the problem and your device model. We'll sort it out.
